Jessica Simpson will be in Carolina! No just kidding.
Dallas is banged up. C Andre Gurode is out with a knee and Saftey Patrick Watkins is out with an ankle. Roy Williams is suspended, but they're appealing to the league (don't hold your breath, 3rd horse collar this year). It should be interesting to see what Steve Smith can do against Dallas' 3rd string d-backs.

{QB Tony Romo walked into the offices at Valley Ranch today wearing a heavy wrap over his right hand. It seemed like bags of ice, held on with Ace bandages.

There were also wires coming out of the wrap, which would indicate some kind of muscle stimulator being used on the thumb. Just so you know ...}

It's looking better and better. Carolina is becoming more of an even match. Vegas is giving Carolina 10-13 points. That will be coming down in the next couple of days. Take Carolina and the points! It's just a matter of days and TO will have a Narcissistic Spasm. That will be the indication the meltdown has started.

Owens isn't upset, he just wants the ball

Where have we heard this before? San Francisco? Phaildelphia? Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Terrell Owens said Monday he isn't upset, he just wants the ball.

The Dallas Morning News reported the Cowboys wide receiver has only five catches for 58 yards and no touchdowns the last two games combined. In the previous seven, he had averaged seven receptions and 123 yards per game and scored 11 touchdowns.

"We got to pay attention to detail, and I'm sure the coaches will see that," Owens said Monday morning. "I mentioned it to [receivers coach Ray Sherman]. You know it's not a matter of guys doubling and triple-teaming me. I feel like in certain situations, I can outrun coverage."

Dallas' Bad Weekend

That loss to Philly went about as bad as it could. S Roy Williams should just sit out at Carolina instead of possibly suspended for the Washington game. Washington's playing their backup QB, but Carolina's down to their 4th stringer. Dallas should be worried about Romo's injury. I remember watching Favre struggle with his broken thumb through the entire 1999 season and first half of the 2000 season and it turned an MVP QB into an average one. The biggest problem might be the loss of Pro Bowl C Andre Gurode. Wade Phillips said backup C Cory Proctor was successful on 17 out of 19 plays but all four sacks during the game after Gurode was injured.
