With QB Daunte Culpepper hurting and QB JaMarcus Russell still a rookie, QB Josh McCown will start on Sunday. He had a great game on Sunday against Denver, but Football Outsiders currently has him ranked 48th out of the 49 QBs who have thrown at least 78 passes this season. Only the dynamic duo in San Francisco of QB Trent Dilfer (49th) and QB Alex Smith (47th) are anywhere near as bad as McCown this season. His poor season isn't a product of playing on a bad offense either because QB Daunte Culpepper has a positive rating according to FO and is ranked 23rd overall.
