You Sending the Wolf?

Although that was all Jules needed to hear, are Packer fans happy to hear that Ron Wolf might be coming out of retirement? According to ProFootballTalk.com:

"Per a league source, Wolf is quietly making it known among Green Bay board members that he'd be willing to come back for another stint with the team, if the team were inclined to have him."

One person who would not be happy to hear about the return of Wolf is GM Ted Thompson:

"The source says that Wolf would only return if he has final say over the roster and the coaching staff."

GM Ted Thompson had an awful 2005 season, but followed it up with a solid 2006. The book is still open on Thompson, but it doesn't matter. I don't believe any Ron Wolf is returning to the Packers rumors.

This one of profootballtalk.com's unfunny April Fool's Day pranks. A pretty pathetic attempt at humor from a site that consistently misses the mark with its commentary as well as its jokes. I can't stand the guy, but he pretty consistently offers up reliable breaking news, so I stop by there every day. He would do much better if he kept the commentary and the snide remarks to himself. I have no reason to give credence to this guy's opinion's over any other loudmouth fan's.
