Talking Patriots Football

I usually run a blog about the Packers, but we've slipped into some talk about New England football, some of it Packer related. First we discuss the 1st round pick New England lost for spying on the NY Jets coaches during the game. Now I'm bringing up former Patriots OL Joe Andruzzi and his battle with cancer. He actually got his start with the Packers, signed as an undrafted free agent in the mid-90s and came on the roster about the same time as former Packer OL Marco Rivera. Rivera and Andruzzi seemed to be battling for the same spot on the team and when Rivera stayed and Andruzzi was released, I hoped he did well in his next home and he ended up having a solid career in New England. Once again I'm hoping he does well, this time in his battle against cancer.
