Eat your words, packfan
With respect to you, the great fans of the Green Bay Packers, your beloved Packer team and your winning tradition, this diary is aimed toward the loser who posts as packfan.
While, I prefer intellegent sports posts above anything else, I find myself brought down to a vulgar level when this douchebag repeatedly posts diary entries on our site boasting what the Pack will do while putting down my Raiders.
As a Raiders fan, I do enjoy a give and take between fans of other teams, but what I cannot stand is someone who calls a shot and doesn't own up to it when their team falls short.
First you made it a lock that the Packers would finish with a better regular season record than the Cowboys giving them homefield throughout the playoffs.
While I'm still waiting for you to own up to that run of your mouth, you also have to reckon with saying that the Packers would be the NFC representatives in the Superbowl. Most of us would have cheered Brett Farve on to the Superbowl, but your incessant s-talkin' on multiple boards have given us a reason to cheer against the Pack.
When it comes to my Raiders, it is one thing to pile on us when we are down, but to post your baggage on other SB Nation Blogs and not back it up is just tasteless.
Because of this I am calling you out!
The way I see it, you have one of two options.
1.) You either go on ever SB Nation site you spewed your mistruths on and own up to it like a man
or
2.) You hide like a little coward and don't admit that you shouldn't make bold predictions from something you cannot control.
Here's a link for you if you all of a sudden forget how to spell the URL on our site:

Oh, and note to the great Packer fans on this board -- in Oakland we leash our dogs and make sure our bitches don't bark. Curb packfan, the only blight in what is the greatness of the Packer Fans.

Karma, baby
Personally, I try to avoid trash talk although I'm sure anyone can find something bad I've said if you look.
The winning comes and goes, Oakland in the 1970s was sure a hell of lot better than the Packers were back then as one example. The Packers got the better of the Giants in multiple NFL Championship games back in the 1960s, but it didn't work out in the 2008 NFC Championship game.

Close to Frisco Fourty-Whiners...
And don't come here expecting an apology because we fell short of our expectations; we sure put a beat down on the Raiders and there is no denying or apologizing coming forth on that issue.
In case you haven't noticed, this is AMERICA, and people can say and do what they want. Like making fun out of trashy teams with loser players and fans.

Listen
Why I posted on your site (and I hardly ever post on other fanbases' websites -- even ones in the hotbed of fan animosity that is the AFC West) is because I hold all smack-talkers accountable.
If you have the gumption to come over to another site, make bold predictions and run smack, then be a man about it and own up to it when your shot falls short.
I can waste time and disrespect where you live or how you wish to be something other than you are, but I'd like to think that I'm a little better than that.
All I ask is that people own up to the comments they make, whether it is beneficial to them or not.
That holds true in Oakland, Green Bay, Tampa Bay, New York or anywhere else in America.
I hold packfan accountable as should you.

You're accountable
And please tell me, what is it that I wish to be that I'm already not? A highly paid football player? Well you got me there, brains.
Dude, the Raiders suck. The Packers kicked ass. We should be in the Super Bowl. That isn't smack talk, its the dang truth, son.
What gives you the right to ask for accountability, anyway?

If you listen to what I have been writing
Obviously, I need to single you out also because you don't know the basic difference between "smack talk" and "calling your shot."
It doesn't take the brains, which apparently you either have and don't use, or are missing entirely to see that there is a huge difference between the two.
For a sold two months now, you have had packfan running his big mouth to fans from all around the league with his bold predictions. He also takes credit when he claims he "called it" as evidenced by one of his recent diaries.
The loser you call packfan is what you call a "Top-Stepper." When the going is good, he is on the top step, talking smack, saying his predictions are a sure thing and stirring the pot with all others. But when things even a little bit south he's nowhere to be found.
Question: It has been three days since I posted this diary, so where is packfan?
Sure the Raiders sucked this year and the Pack got the best of us, but you have to respect that I will own up to this and come to your board submitting to that truth.
I came to your board expecting that people would call me a whiner for calling one of you guys out and still I answer back -- this is the ULTIMATE form of Smack Talk Participation.
I am the best kind of fan -- the kind that sticks with my team during the worst of all times.
I don't think packfan can make that claim.
Billy, if you can't see that I feel sorry for you.

By the way. where's the truth in packfan's claims
1. The Pack would have a better record than the Cowboys at the end of the season.
and
2. The Pack would be repping the NFC in the Superbowl.
Both of those became grossly false.
I don't make predictions like that, and if I did I would be accountable if those predictions went south.

In the long run
I just wanted to call out someone who has been so apt to call me and my people out when the going was good for him.
Eventually I will tire from waiting for packfan and I will leave the site.
Till then, I am your resident Raider fan.

Dude, seriously
So as we discussed earlier, the Raiders really sucked this year. It seems their organization is tanking badly, losing star power, not really moving forward.. to have someone repping that malignant organization come here, to the blog of a very well managed organization, with great staff and a bright future with lots of stars, and demand accountability for .. what? saying we're gonna win the super bowl? We won 14 games this year. You won 4. Can you comprehend what I'm trying to learn ya? It's like a piece of garbage asking a meteorite why he didn't stay a meteor. Granted, we didn't make it to the stars, but at least we're not a piece of garbage, laying in the street.
I'm not packfan, but I understand where he was coming from, saying "Nobody can beat us in the playoffs.." which was true, by the way, we beat ourselves with a last second INT and blew multiple chances to win the game, so I'm not sure where you get off trying to pick a fight with a bully who already gave you a black eye.
Go ahead and blast on my intelligence or sophistication or whatever you want. It won't change anything. The Raiders are the joke of the AFC, and the Packers are one of the best teams in the league. I mean even the Jets came in here last year and stomped us, but your team wouldn't even put up a fight. 38 - 7? And you want an apology from one of US? Laughable.

All things are tentative, so enjoy them
How long do you guys think you have Farve for? Maybe a year -- two tops? How far do you think Cal's own Aaron Rogers will take the team?
All teams go though rough spells, and if you don't think that in the next few years, the Pack might be in the position the Raiders are in currently post-Farve, then I have to question your intellegence again.
Of course he could be the Steve Young coming off the Joe Montana. but tandems like that are few and far between.
Sure, my guys are hurting now, but remember, much like your Packers, the Raiders are one of the reasons the league is as great as it is. Despite his faults, Al Davis is still one of the great men of professional football and the game would be much lacking without him. It is because of him and the love of our outlaw team that we stay loyal through thick and thin.
Once again, I do admit that we are down, but the point of the matter which you can't fully comprehend is that you might be the meteor, but I am calling out the douchebag sitting in a lawnchair drinking Pabst Blue Ribbon and claiming the the meteor will definitely "reach the stars," as flawed as your metephor is.
All I ask is that packfan eat the humble pie he is so apt to shovel onto everyone else.
Also, don't shortchange the Giants for what they did.
The Pack didn't choke to the Giants -- they got straight BEAT by them.
In fact, Tynes had two chances to win the game and gave you guys one on a silver platter. If you believe that it was the Pack that beat themselves, then I do have to once again question your intellegence.
But then I suppose that is easy to do because you don't seem to understand why I post on your site.
By the way Billy, I don't understand what you're "learnin'" me. I think you should apologize to all of us for butchering the English language. Maybe if you didn't take too many personal "snow days" when you were younger, you would comprehend my posts and come up with a proper retort.

Hey Packer fans!
And ignore the raider fan. They seldom have intelligent articles on their own site, and seem to feel that pottying over others peoples sites is somehow a sign of football wisdom.
I don't listen or respond to fans of teams who trash talk (or "call shots" or whatever) when they come from a 4-12 season perspective. You guys showed who was the better team, and have nothing to gain by replying.
His pathetic comment says it all: "nothing posted on any fansite is a big deal." Maybe for his site, but speaking as someone from another SBN site (that gets linked on occassion by sites like SI and ESPN), I disagree.
You Packer fans keep your heads up. Great season in '08, and good luck to you guys in '09.

Donkey fan must not read properly.
It is only the use packfan in general that I am calling out.
BTW, the only other fansite I've posted on outside of my hometeams is this one. I'm pretty sure I've smelled hoosierteacher's stink on many other sites.
Nothing like hypocracy to instantly discredit your post.
It is an insult to have "teacher" at the end of your name.
