Week 13 Postgame Musings (Abridged Version)
Well, that's it, folks. At 5-7, you can consider this year's Packers team pretty much out of the playoffs. While they still have a viable shot (the division leader will only be 7-5 after tonight), this team simply isn't consistent enough to go on a run and take back the advantage they once had. If they can beat Chicago AND both Chicago and Minnesota have horrible meltdowns, then it's possible. But I wouldn't bet on it.
And I have a cold. Blech.

well, I voted...
before the Vikings drubbed the Chicago Bears…so change it to YES, they are done lol…vikings play 3 tough teams at the end, but the Giants are gonna have homefield throughout by the time they play the vikes, so that’s a win…
so yeah, for me its, “Brett rooting time”…go ol’ number 4

I think it's possible...
…that the Vikings go 1-3, the Bears 3-1 and we 4-0, but not likely.

My Stance
It’s quite possible, but unlikely. Vikings play Lions, Cardinals, Falcons, Giants in that order. It all depends on whether or not the Cardinals/Giants decide they have a reason to play their starters. Both are playoff locks at this point. I think the Falcons will play, because they are still fighting for a spot. So – we need Minnesota to lose 2 of those 4 games, and if Atlanta and one other team can do it (40% chance?), then we have a chance.
If Minny loses at least 2 and we win all of our last 4 games (Houston, Jacksonville, Chicago, Detroit), which I think is doable, we are in the playoffs at 9-7. We win the tiebreaker with Chicago b/c of head-to-head and with Minny because our 5-1 division record is better than their 4-2/3-3.
I just don’t know if the Cardinals/Giants will put up a fight or if the Packers are capable of winning 4 in a row, albeit against mediocre teams.
All we can do is root for GB every week and learn to love those Lions, Falcons, Cardinals and Giants.

I forgot to add...
The Vikings only have to go 2-2, not 1-3 as previously mentioned by Bukanier and PackfaninFL
