Around SBN: Steve McNair Found Shot to Death

Off Topic: Why I love Wisconsin part 1 of ?

I'm obviously a Packer fan, but I'm not a Wisconsinite. I'm from the DC suburbs of Maryland. But the Packers aren't the only thing I love from Wisconsin, though. Heres a growing list of people, places, or things I love about Wisconsin.

Michael Feldman-Has a public radio show alot like Garrison Keillor, but seperates himself because 1. from Wisconsin as opposed to Minnesota, therefore better, 2. funnier than Garrison Keillor with a helluva lot less effort at it and 3. he's Jewish, and he's from Wisconsin. How awesome is that?

The accents-With one side of my family from Michigan and the other from  Illinois, I'm pretty familiar with how people from Wisconsin talk, but that does nothing to diminish my love for it. GOW BEADGERS!

Senator Feingold-Opposes the Patriot Act, wants universal health care. Sounds like a beast to me. Plus, he's Jewish and from Wisconsin. How awesome is that?

Bob Uecker-This one needs no explanation.

Usingers-Simply the best Bratwurst. God, I could look at those catalogs all day.

Caron Butler-Far and away my favorite Wizard of all time.

Any other suggestions?

Feingold is a hack. I simply cannot believe that he’s still in office.

You have to love a guy who doubled the size of state government during his term. Put in justices who were rabidly anti-individual rights.

Followed that up by pushing to have everyone chipped – for our own good of course. Used his office in Washington to turn around and make himself wealthy.

I guess theres not many of you on here from Madison

Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: "Mankind". Basically, it's made up of two separate words—"mank" and "ind". What do these words mean? It's a mystery, and that's why so is mankind.

Madison born and raised

I was, technically in Middleton but it’s all connected. Went to UW-Madison too. “Madison, Wisconsin is 30 square miles surrounded by reality”, baby! I think I’m a pretty stereotypical, overeducated Madison type of guy.

My dad ran his first congressional fundraiser

He says he could someday run for president. Perhaps a run in 2016.

I'm not political

I don’t know if I agree with Feingold on anything, but he’s a Middleton guy too so I’ve gotta stick by him.

screw Middleton

there’s only one legitimate Cardinals team, and it’s in SP

But most good brews made in America are from Wisconsin
