Brian Carriveau looks at who is playing where so far on the offensive line. LT, C, and RT are set with Chad Clifton, Scott Wells, and Mark Tauscher, but it's an open competition at the two guard spots. Brian assumes Jason Spitz will be the starting right guard, but Junius Coston would have started there all last season if he hadn't gotten hurt.

Allen Barbre is getting a shot at left guard after Daryn Colledge underperformed there last season. It would make sense that now is the time for Barbre because the 2007 4th round pick probably need an entire season to get used to the speed of the NFL after playing college ball in Division I-AA.
