The idea that Favre is in no rush to apply for reinstatement, Favre said he didn't formally retire in the FOX news interview but obviously some papers were pushed to get him on the reserve-retired list, seems like a bad idea. The Packers strategy seems to be to draw this out as long as possible and hope Favre goes away. GM Ted Thompson has even said that as long as Favre is retired there is nothing for him to do until the league approves Favre's reinstatement. Favre's agent, Bus Cook, has been an agent for a while so I would be surprised if this strategy is really a mistake, but it doesn't seem like it will work.

He is a moron and needs to be GONE! As a shareholder I would approve any vote to get him the hell out of there. He is the worst!

I just wanted to express my thanx to Thompson for making the Packers the TEAM they are!!! This is a young, exciting team with all the pieces in place for numberous playoff appearances, not to mention a couple of deep runs into the playoffs that could well end in a SB or three!!! Jennings, Jones, Grant, Lee, Nelson, Finley, Rodgers, Brohm, a young OL. Kampman, Jenkins, Thompson, Hawk, Barnett, Chillar, Poppinga, Lee, Blackmon, Bigby, Rouse, Collins…
Some questions at OT and CB that will be addressed if they havent already… This team is going places and it is going there w/o Favre, but w/ Rodgers at the helm!!!
Let Favre cry all he wants… IF… Thats a big IF… he is reinstated, get a two week roster exemption and seek a trade!!! But until then sit your azz down and shut the F up Brett!!!
You created it, and are orchestrating a way out of GB, but it won’t happen w/ you retired!!
