Did Minnesota Really Tamper With Favre?

It all seemed ridiculous that Minnesota was tampering with Brett Favre, but what the hell was going on? Why does Favre still a cell phone owned by the Packers? Why did he keep calling Minnesota head coach Brad Childress and offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell, but they never called him? Was he stalking them by telephone? Did he want the Packers to get a draft pick from Minnesota? Why were they checking who he called anyway?

The fact that the Packers decided to see who Favre was calling is probably a good indication of how poor their relationship is right now. I've been wrong about everything Favre has done since the end of last season, so I'm sure I'm wrong about everything that is going to happen over the next few weeks.

If Favre was calling Childress and not Bevell...

...then he has a credibility issue. He has stated that he hasn’t thought about coming back with anyone else but the Packers but if its proven that he has called Childress then what was he calling him about? Certainly he wasn’t trying to convince Childress of the comfort of Wrangler jeans…was he?

I am a diehard Vikes fan and I’m glad to see you’re not jumping to conclusions on anything. We all found out Brett never had a Packers cell phone. He claims that if talking to teams during the offseason is tampering, there are about 7-10 other teams that should be charged as well.

Packers officials are just targeting Minnesota, because they’re division rivals. Kinda low if you ask me, but we’ll see what happens.
