It is really odd that GM Ted Thompson hasn't said anything regarding the media storm brewing around him and Favre. Sure he is on vacation and nothing needs to be done immediately, but in the media savvy NFL, rumors aren't usually left to swirl for this long.

Maybe he's putting this off as long as possible because if this turns out bad he'll be the fall guy.
