Banged Up Defensive Line
The Packers were dealing with some defensive line depth problems with injuries to NT Ryan Pickett, DT Justin Harrell, and DE Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila. But it's getting worse now that three guys who played last weekend in the family night scrimmage are now hurt too (DE Jeremy Thompson, DT Daniel Muir, and DT Johnny Jolly). None of these injuries look serious, but it's hard to tell since Mike McCarthy doesn't ever reveal too much about his players' injuries. Looks like it will be a short bench and a long night for the guys who are healthy to play Cincinnati on Monday.

i think everything will be fine
although this rash of injuries IS cause for concern when we’re talking about a unit lauded for its depth.
truth is, though, big guys get hurt all the time. as long as it isn’t major (which I don’t think any of them are), that group should be ok

I wouldn't be worried if they held Pickett out of all the preseason games
He is so very important to our defense that it makes sense to keep him away from potential chop blocks and such. Let him get his work in practice where he doesn’t have to worry about our O-linemen chopping at his knees.
agreed on Pickett
He’s huge for us (literally and figuratively) and we need to make sure he’s healthy and ready to go come the opener. Don’t have much confidence in Harrell but I’d love to be proven wrong!
Can't pitch Gagne in rain. He’s like the B-2 bomber of baseball.--TheJay
