The only noticeable injury during the first preseason game was when WR Ruvell Martin suffered a concussion in the second quarter. It was a bang-bang play, no flag was thrown, and I didn't notice anything about it. Apparently the game film made it to the league office and Bengals S Marvin White was fined for planting his helmet in Martin's chest.

It was a bad game for White who got tossed aside by WR Donald Driver on a play in first quarter, and on the next play, WR James Jones shrugged off a hit from White and ran in for a TD. Two lowlights and a league fine is not a good start to his season.
