Packers Fantasy Depth Chart

Aaron Rodgers prevailed as the Packers starting QB after the Brett Favre saga finally ended.  What is his fantasy value as a first year starter in 2008?  Our fantasy depth chart ranks him, and the rest of the Packers.

Key:

PTR = Position Tier Rank. This is the tier level where the player should be slotted in most drafts.

1 = Elite Player.

2 = Solid Performer

3 = Backend starter/Bench fill-in

4 = Roster filler or long-term prospect

0 = No value

ITR = In The Rotation

PB = Position Battle

S = Starter

Summary: Rodgers has plenty of weapons to make his first year as starter a successful one.  As long as he doesn't wilt under the peressure of replacing a legend, he should be a solid fantasy QB.  It's quite possible that if you don't have a QB by round four, he could be a solid value there.  He should be gone by the beginning of the second tier of QBs, so don't wait too long if you really feel there is big upside.  A stat line of 20 - 24 TDs is feasible.
