Favre to the Jets
Looks like this relationship is finally over and settled. according to ESPN and the NFL Network, Brett Favre is now a Jet. The Packers and Jets have agreed on a conditional a 4th round pick for Favre which could escalate into a 1st round pick pending weather or not the Jets win the Superbowl and 80% of games. To escalate into a third round pick, Favre must play in 40% of games, for a second he must qualify the Jets to the Playoffs and play in 70% of games Just though all you guys in cheesehead nation should know. Though the Trade has been agreed on, Favre must still sign off on the deal
Im a Colt fan BTW here to inform.

Favre a What?
This is just horrible, Ted Thomson better hope Aaron Rodgers does not suck or he’s gonna lose his job. We could have been set to be good this year. Now we are gonna take a chance on a player who has gotten injured every time he has played.

The Jets still won't be very good
Coles and Cotcherry aren’t bad, but they ain’t Driver and Jennings.
Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: "Mankind". Basically, it's made up of two separate words—"mank" and "ind". What do these words mean? It's a mystery, and that's why so is mankind.

I’d be stunned if they made the playoffs

Farve is too old to go to another team and reach the SB. The Jets are just trying to sell tickets. Reminds me of Hubby Brown and the Grizzles paying 8million for Hakeen Olajuwan for 2 season of 2pts and 2rbs or the Saints trading for Earl Campbell. Both sold tickets neither has anything left in the tank.

When was Olajuwon on the Grizzlies?
When Hubie Brown was there?

WOW!
I used to be a Pack fan. Not anymore though. Denver fans would have burned down the city had we been in the same situation when John retired. No way in hell you let your legendary QB walk. Where is the loyalty? How do you trust Aaron Rogers over Brett frickin Favre. Okay I got it out. What does Packer country see in Rogers that the rest of the country dosn’t?
FYI, in know way was this meant to disprespect any Pack fan.

agreed
thanks for checking in here. we appreciate your concern. but Rodgers (note the spelling, this isn’t just directed at you, a ton of people do it and it drives me crazy) is an unknown to the country because he hasn’t played. thats the bottom line. we’re hoping he can be good. i can tell you that i like the way he has handled himself through all of this. he has more of a professional than Brett has

Elway
John Elway didn’t stay at the party too long, Brett did. Joe Montana stayed at the party too long. There comes a time when the franchise has to move on. The few times I’ve watched Aaron Rodgers he’s moved the offense well. He’s watched Favre for what, three years? He’s a first round draft choice and he knows the offense. It’s his turn.

Brett Favre quit on the Pack
He retired. For no reason, other than Ted Thompson wouldn’t let Brett do his job for him. Waaaaaaaaah, you didn’t sign Randy Moss~! He made it clear that he didn’t want to be there anymore. He changed his mind so many times it isn’t funny.
And don’t put it on the Packers fans, they wanted him back and were pretty much figuring he was coming back. But hey, yeah, blame the people who didn’t have anything to do with the decision at all. Sure, THEY made the call.
Remind me again when The Green Bay Packers forged Brett’s retirement papers and constantly defrauded him and the NFL to keep him away? That’s right, HE RETIRED. HE QUIT AND SAID HE DIDN’T WANT TO PLAY ANYMORE and that it was time to move on.
Screw Brett Favre and everyone who wants to treat this guy like he’s won every superbowl since he became a Packer. I didn’t see Aaron Rodgers throwing the interception that recused the Giants from choking. Leave the poor guy alone already, he’d be the bench guy again if Brett didn’t retire, so get off his back like he had anything to do with it other than getting the job by default.
tl;dr: Brett Favre is a scumbag and shouldn’t be placed on the pedastel he’s on.

I wouldn't go THAT far
but I agree that Favre has too much slack with fans and media alike. Considering he’s the greatest quarterback ever, in my opinion, maybe it just comes with the territory.

I am embarrased
by how some Packer fans are acting. Actively rooting against Rodgers, hoping the Packers have a bad record., etc.
Hearing the reports of people at the daytime practices reminds me of the famous Lee Elia rant – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uv23pqH9iG0
