Friday Injury Report for Week 4 vs. Tampa Bay

C'mon Mitchell! You can do the entire injury report, so I can watch the Brewers kick butt (go Marlins!). Oh well, the Brewers' game is over, Seth McClung is a big hero, and it's time to talk Packer injuries!

The big news is that's it's tough going in the Packers secondary. Luckily they've got depth, and Mike McCarthy said rookie CB Pat Lee's looking good in practice, so they've got that going for them. Bigby's still out despite the upgrade to doubtful, Rouse now has a injured knee after dealing with an injured ankle earlier, and Woodson will be playing through a broken toe for a while. Collins even joined the list, but he's probably the healthiest member of the starting secondary. Obviously Harris is the focus this week after it looked like he suffered a season ending spleen injury last week, it defintely will end his consecutive games played streak, he's started 83 straight games as a Packer since 2003, but the good news is that Mike McCarthy thinks Harris may return this season:

(Are you any further along on a timetable for Al?)
I'd say it's safe it's going to be at least three to four weeks. The thing that we know for sure is we've had to totally shut him down for seven days, so he'll start probably Monday morning with some form of conditioning, and it will just progress as we move forward. There will be some tests that are done along the way. I don't have an exact timeframe for you.

(So the consensus is it will heal on its own?)
Yes, that's my understanding.

Otherwise the team looks pretty good. Starting FB Korey Hall will probably miss this game too, but backup FB John Kuhn should be fine in his place. One of the most disappointing occurances this season is the absence of WR James Jones, who will probably not play in Tampa due to his knee injury. I had really been looking forward to him taking a big step forward this season, but he's been hobbled with that injury he suffered at the end of the preseason. It's not his fault, but it's really disappointing.

I'd never want to overstep my bounds

besides, you’ve got that fancy table thing going at the bottom of your post; I can’t compete with that.

Bigby being nicked up for this game is ok; the Bucs’ offense isn’t that scary. Ike Hilliard, Earnest Graham, Jeramy Stevens = meh. Not bad. Just meh.

I just hope that the rest of them (Hall, Rouse, JAMES JONES, etc.) get healthy for next week; I want the Pack to get some momentum going, and they need healthy players to do so.
