Mark Tauscher Will Be A Free Agent

Before I started looking at other teams' potential free agents, I'll start looking at the list of notable Packer free agents. Here's the (very) short list:

RT Mark Tauscher

And he blew out his ACL back in December. I'm not sure if any team would offer him more than the veteran minimum, since it's possible he'll miss the early part of 2009 too. I might be missing some minor free agents. I hope the Packers resign him, but with the exception of Tauscher, GM Ted Thompson will be able to keep the rest of the roster intact, if he wanted to.

Man, this is tough

Tauscher’s been with us for so long, and so many of those years he’s been a team leader. My gut feeling though is to let him walk, even though I know we can get him cheap. He’s probably seen his best days.

Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: "Mankind". Basically, it's made up of two separate words—"mank" and "ind". What do these words mean? It's a mystery, and that's why so is mankind.

Keep him!

Tausch has been threw the thick and thin with this team leading the Oline for much of it. He is a class act, teammate and player! we will be able to get him cheap and at first sign him for a one year deal if his knee doesnt get back to full strength then we let him go after next year. He still was one of the best linemen on the team this year. we own it to him for aleast one more year! I would take a hurt Tausch over the Chad Clifton we had this year and some of the other linemen that seemed to be penalty happy.
