Whats up VCF and Clutch!

Let’s go Pack, this one is there for the taking.

Some people say the glass is half empty, some say half full. I say, are you going to drink that?

I’d love for the Pack to pull this one out.

Wouldn't we all.

I’d take a Packers victory tonight even if it spoiled my picks this week and ended up as the only game that I picked wrong.

I have a 13-0 week going so far, got every game right yesterday.

So, how are the Packers doing tonight?

(if anyone replied to my earlier post along these lines, I went into this thread before I saw your replies. Sorry.)

good and bad

AP is being kept in check.. Our OL still sucks/ Rodgers holding the ball too long, a couple big plays have helped us. Brett is killing us on 3rd downs

How did we score the second touchdown?

I missed that on radio.

In my honest estimation

They are who we thought they were. Offense needs big plays to score, a couple of drops here and there, Rodgers sacked 3 times, a couple of his own doing, defense has missed some receivers running wide open, lots of Penalties.

Only differences- we’ve bottled AP rather well, several of the penalties are not deserved.

by Danwood on Oct 5, 2009 9:17 PM CDT up reply actions   0 recs

Doing good so far!

Holding AP for now. Getting the short end of penalties, but good teams overcome that.

Do me a favor, wouldya

and take that message over to Baltimore Beatdown.

I like the way we've been playing

unfortunately 2 turnovers in Vikings territory…I think that’s the key…we would be closer without those turnovers…

Semi-neutral observer here

you guys are getting screwed by the refs. This is the most one-sided reffing I’ve seen since the Patriots played the Colts+refs two years ago. The Pats ended up winning that one despite getting hosed, so hopefully you guys can pull it out, too.

Thanks!

The call the really gets me is that holding call on Woodson when he jammed the receiver out of bounds.

Speaking of one-sided reffing,

Did you see the calls in the Patriots/Ravens game yesterday?

Those were phantom roughing the passer calls at best.

I'm not going to get into it here,

but you’re wrong. It’s a crappy rule, but it was enforced as it was written.

Hey man

there’s a pretty lively thread at PatsPulpit tonight if you want to sit in the Red-White and Blue section.

I'm not a Pats fan

Giants fan – I think they’re still sore at us. But I just remember watching that game thinking the reffing was terrible. I’m getting the same feeling tonight. I’m not normally one to complain about refs, but sometimes it seems like they send the worst crews to these big national games

I knew I knew you from somewhere.

Ron Winter’s crew is the worst — or at least the tightest. We had him yesterday v. the Ravens (who are still sore). But there’s so much Brady-hate that some people lose the thread.

I don’t think there’s any question that stars get star calls — it’s not as bad as the NBA though.

NBA going to non-union refs this year...

should be interesting to see if that holds up for at least this year.

by Bush League All Star on Oct 5, 2009 9:26 PM CDT up reply actions   0 recs

yea, definitely

NBA’s the worst.

I actually like Brady, and I don’t blame him for looking for the penalty yesterday, it was a smart move, but I think it’s a badly written rule, like you said above. But, you guys got some real bad P.I. penalties called against you in the Buffalo game, so I guess it evens out.
