From NFL.com:
Hall, Giordiano, Giacomini, Spitz, Nelson, Finley, Wynn, Thompson. Unfortunately Finley couldn’t go after all.
For MN, their WRs Reynaud and Berrian are out, so their thin at the position.
And got one knocked away by Williams :)

Bad series for Rodgers there, but I’m not a fan of the playcalling either. The screen call was ok, but they read it.
What begins in fear usually ends in folly.
by Ted Simmons Speed Camp on Nov 1, 2009 3:31 PM CST up reply actions
Agreed
screens on 3rd and a mile are a horrible call in my opinion. Better for our team to throw a quick slant and let Driver or Jennings work with open space to get the first or better yardage. Grant’s not a quick enough back to run that really well.
Look at that protection!!!
I know we went 3 and out…but still, a positive sign.
"stay (green and) gold"
Ok,
I’m a Rodgers-lover, but some of his throws make me think that he’s more rattled by today’s emotions than the opposing QB is.
"Brandon Jennings needs a nickname before he gives himself one. Oh wait, Young Money, he already did."
Not gonna argue on that one
He’s trying for too much, too early. A couple of quick slants to get some rhythm, and then go for the home run…

our blitz
isn’t getting there, so we need to score TD’s or they’re just gonna run away from us.
That's why the early FG was so bad
Can’t get 6 only needing to go 20 yards, how the hell are you going to match TD for TD when you have to go 80+ every time?
unbelievable
he just silenced the crowd
The defense is using up too much energy. They’re gonna be gassed, even after halftime.
If the next drive doesn’t result in significant points, go ahead and chalk up the L. This Minnesota team is simply too good to give up that much momentum in a game
"Brandon Jennings needs a nickname before he gives himself one. Oh wait, Young Money, he already did."
It's early
Got to step up the pressure on him. And the offense has to do more. Really only had that one pass to Driver in a quarter and a half.
Their DB's really are playing well.
I was hoping that the Pitt game was a mirage, but the WRs aren’t getting any separation, and the LB’s a dropping pretty deep to clog the middle right now.

And the QB position
We’ve had a few openings but haven’t gotten the ball there when there were.
Rodgers has too much faith
in his receivers’ ability to get open after their initial routes. And his own ability to run away from Jared Allen and Co. all day. He needs to make his reads and be willing to check it down.
Things happen for a reason they say, but I say there's a reason things happen.
Need to open that middle with TE/RB pressure

3. Vikings score, should be 7-10
4. Another friggen penalty, we should be running a kickoff back right now down by 6.

I guess they’re performance against Pittsburgh wasn’t a fluke after all. They’re giving them lots of help by playing a Tampa 2 and dropping the LBs into the throwing lanes, but the corners are holding up well, and we don’t have a TE that can split the field without Finley.

GOD DAMMIT.
You know what burns me about this game?
It’s the hype. Plain and simple, the storylines have run this game from before the season ever started. If there wasn’t so goddam much riding on this game, I wouldn’t care. If this was our 3rd loss in 1968, I wouldn’t care. But this is Favre vs. the Packers at Lambeau. OMFG!
Ya know what – ta hell with it. We’re losing. Hopefully that’ll stop, but if not, then we stop thinking about it and play the next 9 games the way we know we can.

I disagree
I’d care, not because who we’re losing to, but how many obvious, repairable mistakes have already been made.
That and this is a HUGE game as far as division standings go
Winning this would put it at 6-2 vs 5-2 instead of 7-1 vs 4-3

one positive note
ahman green hasn’t looked bad on kick off returns. Need some points here otherwise this goes from what could be a showing to a rout (not saying it isn’t already a rout but it is possible to make ti worse)

Troy just hit the nail on the head
We’re playing this super-weak wannabe zone. We should be pressing on the corners (like we did in the first game) and bringing at least 5 men on each play.

You know what
I would love to see Rodgers lead the amazing down by three touchdown comeback against Favre, the biggest game of his life.
But we all know that is very unlikely to happen. This game just proves how far apart the gap is between teams that are good like the Packers, Niners, Bears, Chargers and the teams that are truly great like the Vikings and Colts.
I wonder just how close Rodgers is to having a nervous breakdown
I mean, the guy shows no emotion in public, despite the enormous pressure on him (yes, there’s still pressure on him). Combined with the “protection”, the drops, the receivers not getting open, and the playcalling, I’m just waiting for him to walk to the sideline, fling his helmet to the ground, and sit on the bench while shaking his head in disgust.
Of course, he hasn’t played all that well today himself, so I’m sure at least some of that disgust is self-directed.

The key thing now is:
1) is everyone healthy? (Jennings, Driver, Rodgers)
2) What do they do with this loss?
They definitely played them closer in this game than the last, though the score may not reflect that if the Vikes put up more points here. It’s a deeply flawed team, but they’re better than they were a month ago, and if they can stay healthy, they can continue to improve. This is as good as the Vikes are going to get. But can GB earn a 3rd game against them and beat them when it counts?

Vikings are now 7-1
should be 5-3. Getting lucky in a few games (SF, BAL) and letting teams back in games that should be blowouts. I refuse to believe that the Vikings will continue to win at the pace that they have but its also clear that GB is not a playoff team.

No
Elite teams find ways to close out games and come out on top in the end. We’ve had chances to win in the three games we lost, and we lost them. Minnesota finds ways to come out on top and they likely have the division locked up after this.
Think of this a lot like 1998. We’re a good team but not a great one. If we get lucky someone else will knock out the Vikings for us if we by some miracle make the playoffs.
