Ahmad Carroll is still playing in this league?!?

Ahmad Carroll is still in the league? How is that possible? Maybe we should bring him back for special teams, we could use any help we can get!!

He played for Jets last year, after a stint in the Arena League, where he actually was a star.

The guy is pretty fast and actually is a decent ST guy … when he has head head on straight. There are worse players in the league than Carroll

As long as you don’t use him as a corner…right? I always knew he was fast…I just hadn’t heard his name in years so I thought he was gone. Maybe we should add him on ST in place of a FB…could be an emergency fill in too then.

Is he better or worse than Bush, our current last corner on the team?!!?

I think I'd quit being a fan

if I ever saw Ahmad Caroll and Jarrett Bush line up as corners together. My sophomore year of college we kept track of Caroll’s holding and pass interference penalties. I run marathons and I was winded towards the end of the season walking up to the wall to add a tally. That being said, if we can get him for a bag of balls, why not if he’d help us on Special Teams.

Probably worse

He’s really only good for ST. Vikings fans complain about Paymah, but Caroll is Paymah times two (and a higher draft pick was spent on him … hey, at least Ted’s not to blame for this one!) And more off-field issues. Seriously, it should be a pass. Even with Harris out now. It should only be as a last resort, true desperation.

Wash at Corner...

But he was a big performer on ST for the Jets last year(20 some tackles). I think he would be worth signing just to fill a hole in our struggling ST unit.

The Jet’s just released him this week. As far as being a packer……….. well, it made me cringe watching him. It also makes me cringe watching Bush… To be fair though, he was tossed into bump and run coverage as a rookie. Tramon Williams is the best corner prospect we have had in awhile. I hate it when MM and TT use Tramon on special teams though—- because they have NOBODY to step in for Harris or Woodson with ANY kind of talent.
