That is totally a catch. I would argue it was at worst a catch and fumble out of bounds. Which would be a touchdown the second it was a catch and the fumble never happens.

but my low expectations for our two LB’s—Hawk and Barnett—missed the mark. Barnett, I didn’t think he would be as good since the injury. Hawk, just generally too slow. They both have been really good this year.

I don't think it was that ugly.
It was, once again, a great defensive game executed to perfection by Dom Capers’ boys. This is exactly the sort of game we would’ve lost last year, and it almost felt like that would happen today again when they scored that second touchdown, but they came through in a big way today. My only concern was that they didn’t get nearly as much pressure on Cutler as they did and they should have, but that could be because of the injuries to the defensive line. This game was a lot closer than it should’ve been anyways, had the Jennings touchdown stood, which would’ve sent Cutler into full interception machine mode.
Oh, and The Bears Still Suck!
