Long list?

With Rodgers and Jennings extended there really aren’t a lot of concerns. Kampman is unsigned past this season, but his tenure with the team might be over due to a rough transition to the 3-4 and his torn ACL. Maybe Nick Collins is a concern, but I’m not even sure when he’s eligible. I’m confused by the whole uncapped year thing, and I’ve been putting off trying to figure it out until the season is over.

RFAs without an asterisk will have completed three NFL seasons. Players who have an asterisk (*) following their names are fourth- or fifth-year players who would be unrestricted free agents if a new Collective Bargaining Agreement is reached prior to March. If not, the NFL will go into an uncapped season, and those players will become restricted free agents

Free Agents

Let me address each of those players listed in my opinion…. Most of the decisions though depend on the CBA.

Bigby – Resign to a new deal
Blackmon – Resign to a new deal if the price is right
Chillar – Already extended his deal.
Clifton – Resign at the right price
Colledge – This one is the hardest since he not having his best season but was very good last year… I would resign him
Collins – Get the deal done ASAP
Green – Let him go
Kampman – Franchise and then trade him – At least get something for him
Kuhn – Let him go
Martin – Let him go
Pickett – Resign him
Spitz – Resign him for sure
Tauscher – Resign to a decent deal – Could be starter or back up
Williams – Resign him – Very valuable member of the secondary down the road
Wynn – Let him go

Just my opinions and the CBA really plays into all of this!
