very very sad...
it really seemed like he was starting to turn his life around after his string of suspensions and such. Very sad thing!

Really sad..
It sounds like he was really turning his life around. Seeing Ochocinco in tears talking about it really shows me how good of a person he must have been.
How do you guys feel...
…about people who are bringing up his past, his “character”…to me, it’s just plain rude. It gives the impression that Chris “got what he deserved.”
For me, it’s ridiculous. Whenever anyone dies young, it’s a tragedy. Maybe he had an abusive upbrining and bad role models growing up or what have you. Hate to come across as s softy, but that’s how I feel.

I also agree.
I refer you to packallday555’s comment above, Henry really was starting to get his act together again. And then, just as he cleaned up and became a better person, this happens.
I don’t think he got what he deserved. More correctly, I think this cost us all a chance to see what he could have been.
Bound for New York City: January 6-9! Can't wait!

Its really a shame. I’ve heard a lot of “the way he lived his life finally caught up to him” kinda comments, but the way he died doesn’t fit that at all. He didn’t go down in a blaze of glory outside a nightclub or something…he fell out of a pickup after a domestic with his fiancee. A little sketchy still but honestly he really seemed to have found a new way after a troubled early portion of his career. I liked Chris and was really cheering for him this year…I even drafted him this year and he was on my team until he went on IR.
No matter what, its a tough loss for his family, friends, and teammates. You never like to see someone go like this…imagine what his fiancee is going through. They were probably fighting but I can’t imagine this is how she wanted it to go. She could actually end up in jail for a homicide if they find any wrongdoing on her part!
actually
The evidence points to him committing suicide; he was overhead threatening to jump from the truck and kill himself.
So much for your theory of getting himself together?
