Thank You Tommie Harris
From JSOnline.com:
In the Packers' 21-14 victory over the Bears, Harris hit Rodgers low, and as Rodgers fell backward, his foot got caught in the turf and his knee bent awkwardly. On replay, it looks as though Rodgers should have suffered a serious injury...
It turns out Harris did pull up as he hit Rodgers. He told the Chicago Tribune on Thursday that he wasn't into injuring players, especially one he has gotten to know through receiver Greg Jennings' charity events.
"I went for his legs and I let go of them," Harris said. "I could have squeezed them if I wanted to. I wouldn't do that."
It hasn't been the best season for Harris, he's been battling injury and been fined more than once this season, but he was good to the Packers on that play.

Sounds like a classy move on his part…nice to hear a guy come out and say I could have done more but chose not to.

I'm just glad
it was Harris and not J. Allen, classy move Harris, no need to be a douche when playing the game. It’s weird that it’s considered classy when someone decides against purposely injuring someone’s knee… but classy none-the-less!

Was this on the play
Where Harris was blocked to the ground, and then lunged at Rodgers’ legs without first standing up?
Because I’m pretty sure that one of the Tom Brady rules should’ve resulted in a 15-yard roughing the passer penalty on that play. I recall screaming at the television for one.
Might’ve been a different play though.

I also watched the Cardinals-Bears game earlier this year.
Saw this play, which was entirely unnecessary:
(14:06) 34-T.Hightower right tackle to CHI 45 for 13 yards (38-D.Manning). PENALTY on CHI-91-T.Harris, Disqualification, 15 yards, enforced at CHI 45. Penalty was unnecessary roughness on #91 Harris who was ejected from the game.
I’m going to try to watch the highlights from this one later today.
Bound for New York City: January 6-9! Can't wait!
