Interesting twist...Brohm to START in week 16
Who saw this coming? The Bills may be forced to see what they have in Brohm in week 16 due to injuries to their top 2 QBs.We'll now get to see what he's TRULY made of...so far everyone we've cut, except for maybe Sutton, has failed when given the chance to shine on other teams. Hopefully that will happen here too so we don't have to worry about "the one that got away" or something!

Hopefully he plays
I’d love to see him get a shot in Buffalo. If QB Brady Quinn can start, then I don’t see any reason why Brohm can’t. And it’s a perfect opportunity to give Brohm a start in a low pressure game. On the road, in the dome in Atlanta, against a below average defense. He can’t be worse Ryan Fitzpatrick.
I voted fail, by the way. He’s been running the scout team offense over here. He hasn’t taken any reps with the second teamers let alone the first. We have a worse OL than you guys ever dreamed of in Green Bay. Yeah he’s toast.

preseason/OL
Listened to the Bills game while driving across Ontario on Sunday. Heard the Brohm bombshell on the postgame show through the static. Anyway, BB faced a rush in the preseason with the crappy Packer OL. That’s how he got hurt. He should be used to having people in his face. Not that he has the tools to do anything but fail… Still, i’d rather have Quinn or Brohm or even Jamarcus Russell than that other guy for Cleveland.

I'm kinda curious...
As to how anderson had such a good year 2 years back and the failed so miserably this year. Coaching?
They played alot of mediocre to poor teams that year
Their wins that season:
Bengals
Ravens x2 (Pre-Flacco, well aged McNair era)
Dolphins (the 1-15 season)
Rams
Seahawks in OT, their one quality win
Texans
Jets (4-12, pre-Favre season)
Bills
49ers
That, and Braylon Edwards had not been introduced to KY Jelly yet.
Oh Braylon knew the KY back then. That was his rap in college too.
Good point about the teams they played. I remember people mentioning how much tougher the Browns schedule was going to be. I still thought they would be better than THAT! I still can’t believe that they tore about that whole team like it was some aging dynasty or something!!
Hard to imagine how he could succeed
QB with zero starts + Bad team around him = recepie for disaster
Or conversely
He’s facing a team thay defensively isnt playing to well right now. He’s got Lynch and Jackson Evans and owens, maybe he doesnt do to horribly either. Plus the guy wears number 4. lol
I hope he does well
This is a case where I won’t be upset if a player the Packers cut becomes a good player. He showed nothing in GB to make him valuable as an asset to keep or as a trading chip.
With that said, it appears to be a difficult situation to succeed in.
BB
I voted average. TO and Lee Evans? Can’t do much worse than Fitz and Captain Checkdown.
Touchdown, Ronnie Brown Edition!
Here's the big questions though
When a GM cuts a player and that player goes on to succeed in another environment, is the GM considered to have:
a) Failed, because he “let a good one go”.
b) Succeeded, because he had to wherewithall to be the first to notice the talent and draft the guy
See, I almost want my team’s ex-players (whom we drafted) to do well because it means our GM is finding good players in the draft. If they go elsewhere and succeed after having not made it on our team, that would be more of an indictment on poor coaching.
Definitely curious to see how he does. I wouldn’t mind if he did well but at the same time if he does, it makes the pack look a little bad doesn’t it? Losing him for free. I doubt he’ll be too awesome so not much to worry about.
I think it might reflect poorly on the coaching like Jayrome said
It would be similar to the Orton and Benson situation currently facing the Bears.

But...
Orton played well for Chicago last year until he got injured. Certainly nothing any less than what he did this year. Orton’s struggles were definitely because of coaching and play calling.
On the other hand, Brohm never showed anything, period, in training camp or preseason games. Unless game planning for Brohm is “hand it off on every down”, I don’t think the coaches did anything wrong (in this instance)
I can't wait to see Brohm play.
I was really high on him during the draft.
Holmgren would have drafted Crabtree.
