Who Will The Packers Play First?
I put the Green Bay Packers possible playoff scenarios into a table, according to Fox 11:
| Scenarios | Packers Seed | First Playoff Game At |
|---|---|---|
| If Giants, Cowboys, Cardinals Win | 6 | Cowboys |
| If Vikings, Cowboys, Cardinals Win | 6 | Cardinals |
| If Giants, Eagles, Cardinals Win | 5 | Vikings |
| If Vikings, Eagles, Cardinals Win | 5 | Cardinals |
| If Vikings, Cowboys, Packers Win | 5 | Cardinals |
| If Vikings, Eagles, Packers Win | 5 | Cardinals |
| If Giants, Eagles, Packers Win | 5 | Cardinals |
| If Giants, Cowboys, Packers Win | 5 | Cardinals |
Out of 8 possible scenarios, the Cardinals are their first victim in 6 of them. I don't care who they'll play. I'll pick the Packers over any of them.

Agreed on the Packers can win them all.
But the Cards are easy pickin’s.
"That's not baseball; little numbers in the paper, that's soduki or whatever you call it."
there are no easy pickin's
but I like our chances best against the Queens right now. Would have been nice if we didn’t have to play on the road.
It would be the greatest thing
in football if the Packers were able to knock out the Vikes in the first round.
But then we’d have to lose Sunday…

I'd take the Vikings losing to the Eagles in Philly too
Not that I care for the Eagles too much, but it’d be an awesome way of silencing all of the morons that claimed the Vikings would win the SB simply because all of their playoff games would be indoors/in warm weather.
Ok,sx2700 I see your a queens fan
But the Giants might not be as nice to you as the bears were. It might sting worse because it will be at that tent you call a football stadium.
But look up, cheer up
because you will get to watch all 8 of your pro bowlers playing IN the probowl, after that…..well….. work on there golf game???
Yeah
How does McKinney make the Pro Bowl? What a joke? The Queen offensive line looked stupid trying to keep up with some of the athletic defensive front sevens.
The Pro Bowl voting is basically based on reputation and popularity. Even Hutchinson hasn’t been as good this year. But both he and McKinnie have good reputations.

The Giants-Vikings game is at 1 pm.
If the Vikings win, this guarantees the Packers will be returning to Arizona, so they may not have much to play for.
One question. Does Philadelphia have a tie-breaker over Arizona, in case both teams finish 11-5?

If the Eagles finish 11-5, they will be a wildcard, so Cardinals will be ahead of them because they won the NFCW.

I want the Cowboys again at Lambeau!
If I got my way, we would play the Cardinals first in the playoffs, beat them, play the Saints, beat them, meanwhile, the Cryboys would play the Eagles, win, play the Viqueers and win, and then come back up to the frozen Tundra to play the Pack for the NFC Championship. I think we would get home field for that game because we hold the advantage head to head. We would have the same record, same place in our divisions, so we should get them at Lambeau if that scenario worked out. Either way or any way, I want a Green and Gold Superbowl!! GO PACK GO!!!!
For that to happen,
The Packers would have to win, or the Cowboys would have to lose. That would guarantee the head-to-head Packers victory over Dallas in November would impact the playoff seedings.

If we face the Vikings again,
I’m sure we’ll be able to do 3 things we couldn’t in the regular season:
1. Protect number 12. the difference between the line that protected Rodgers in the beginning of the season to the line that protects him now is like black and white. That will prove that Jared Allen is a non-factor when faced with a proper O-Line.
2. Put pressure on number 4. We couldn’t touch the old man in the two games, let alone sack him. But with the emergence of the Claymaker and the cracks that begins to show on the Queens O-Line, I’m sure we could put Favre on his ass.
3. As a consequence of clause 2, interceptions! C-Wood and company will make my day if they can pick him off.
I guess I’m a bit ahead of myself but this is every Packer’s dream scenario – kicking Minnesota’s ass out of the playoffs.
Why do we bake cookies & cook bacon?
I think we could do all those things you said as well. The biggest thing will probably be pressure on Favre. Not only could we not get pressure on him, but Capers only sent blitz packages like 15% of the time..And a lot of the game all we did was rush 3, which gave Favre plenty of time to throw. In our first two games Favre made passing against luck relatively easy, and a large part of that was because almost no pressure on him. I’m pretty confident that if we played again we would get some pressure on him.

Favre could
just throw it at Bush every single down. He went to Jarrett! is going to be the new football slogan

Peterson, etc.
I realise that it’s all about Favre for you guys, but the Vikings are more than Favre. Peterson may not be having his best year, but he’s still a very capable back. Also, after what Roethlisberger did to the Packer defense in Pittsburgh, i’m not so sure that they can stop a good passing attack. 7 minute drives would be the best solution. Their offense can’t do anything without the ball.

Peterson
The reason I didn’t talk much about AP is because after our first two games I’m pretty confident we’ll be able to slow him down. After all, we were able to do so in both of our two earlier games when their o-line was playing good. As of late, they’ve been playing relatively poorly so I like our chances there. Their o-line is also why I like our chances against Favre more too. I still think we’ll struggle against their passing game but I think we could get enough stops against them.

It is about Favre
Peterson has never done much against us, as a whole. Favre torched us twice.
