Addition by subtraction...
It might be just me, but I think this team improved after we lost Kampman and Harris who were probably the two most miscast players in this defense!
You could be right here. I am really thinking Kampman will be gone :(

as good as he is in the 4-3
he could potentially be traded since he doesn’t work as a speed end with no coverage abilities right now.

It sure would be nice to see us get SOMETHING from him besides a compensatory pick. I wonder if they would franchise him???
I hope they don't tag him
too many other important defensive players to sign after this season

Ngata...
he’s one badass dude. He’s in there on EVERY single run. Amazing.
Grant is running hard, just no lanes, the Ravens are STOUT against the run.
What the hell...holding >.<
Grant made a nice cut back there though. He looked like an actual back.

He was aiming at the down marker...

Dumb challenge ...
par for the course with McCarthy, sad to say.
I do not like having no more challenges for the rest of the game
I must admit that the rule should be based only on failed challenges. Seems unfair to be subject to bad calls for the rest of the game.
Kelly Washington is lucky one of the fans didn’t throw a punch at him.

I'd throw one at Bush

Outside of the missed FG and the return. I can sort of see what McCarthy is talking about. They’re not consistently bad throughout the game they just always give up that one bad return and Crosby’s lost his edge.

WHAT?
His PI calls were responsible for BOTH of their TDs…no he does NOT get it. Sure he made a clutch INT but he had a pretty mediocre game in my book
Why aren't they throwing downfield??
They did it before and it worked…I don’t understand this underneath stuff with so little time left. Thanks for the bad playcalling Harbaugh!
I think the only game they will have
Is in Chicago in a few weeks.

I like the Packers over Vikings in a playoff rematch
The Vikings have poor playoff history on their side. I still remember the Niners crushing them back in the 80’s, when the Vikings had the number one defense.
History is not on their side.

Cold weather doesn’t make bad football better, dude. Or are you going to seriously try to push that this was “typical” cold weather football? PuhLEASE.
I think its STILL a statement game
The ravens are a VERY good team. Here is what we’ll hear tomorrow:
- No Ed Reed or Suggs
- Penalty yards
- Sloppy play
But you know what?
- They were shut out in the first half.
- The offensive line shut down the Ravens’ very good front seven.
- The Ravens’ two scores came off wacky fluke turnovers.
- Say what you will about the PI penalties, but Green Bay got their fair share of weird calls as well and more importantly:
- THEY OUTGAINED BALTIMORE 350-185. Period. Ravens have NO excuses left if they couldn’t fight back like that.

FYI
The Packers playoff chances are now listed at close to 90%… means nothing, but is fun nonetheless. :-)
That's exactly
why I wasn’t tripping on what the other teams were doing.
Way I look at it, Packers control their playoff destiny far more than anything else, all we have to do is win and we’re in. We can lose up to one game from here on out. That’s it.
3/4 games on the road
CHI,PITT,@ARI is in no way a walk in the park. Seattle at home should be easy.
this week
Dallas plays the Chargers and the Iggles and Giants play each other.
I do not know that we need to go 11-5 to get a spot. If we win next week and Dallas loses, with Dallas and Philly playing once yet also, I think that we will be looking pretty good.
Good point.
@ Chicago … the Bears didn’t look good even against the Rams
@ Pittsburgh … the Steelers are imploding
Seattle … Seahawks are bad
@ Arizona … A lot depends on what the Cardinals will be playing for. We’ll have to wait and see about this one.

EVEN IF
we lose one of those games- and a part of me thinks there will be a special teams fail somewhere in there that’ll cause that- we’re still in great position to take one of the two wildcard spots at 11-5.
Theres a great chance
we could go 9-7 and still get a wild card spot.

I think we'll win at least two of those games.
At Chicago, and at home against Seattle, and IMO, we’ll probably split the other two games.
That would give us an 11-5 record, most likely a playoff spot.
