New defensive line coach Mike Trgovac says it's likely, but only on one condition:

"He’s a talented kid,” Trgovac said. "If he can stay healthy. . . ."

Then you'll know it's time to stock up on canned foods and bottled water. And I'll feel fine.

This might end up being better for Harrell’s career. His back won’t take as bad a pounding playing DT in the 4-3. He did get drafted in the 1st round for a reason. Let’s hope this helps him showcase his talent!

I agree

the pass rush ability that he hasn’t shown doesn’t need to shine because he won’t be asked to play upfield alot.

Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: "Mankind". Basically, it's made up of two separate words—"mank" and "ind". What do these words mean? It's a mystery, and that's why so is mankind.

I think he might make it work

he’s got the natural talent, and I think he’s learned his lesson regarding preparation and injury prevention.

On a related note, I move we put a temporary hold on the term “Bustin Harrell”. He’s still young and hasn’t gotten his chance to really shine; moving to 3-4 end might work out for him. Gotta think positively, people!

In sports you can

only stop a name for yourself by proving that name wrong!!!! He may have a second chance at the DE position and I hope it works for him and the Packs sake! We need him to be the player that we thought that we drafted and until he proves us wronf he might be labeled as a Bust! BUT lets all hope we are wrong and he has an outstanding year!!!!

Harrell has had injury problems….Ahmad was just…. really bad.

Agreed

lets see what he has before we cut him… Carroll we actually got to see how bad he was! Bustin we have no clue what he can do! But I think this should be the last chance for him. If he goes down again this year and only plays a few games then we have to part ways.
