Another Offseason, Another Quarterback Controversy
I was reading the latest in the QB Jay Cutler fiasco in Denver, and I noticed something that related to the Packers:
Both Cutler and Scheffler are represented by agent James “Bus” Cook, according to NFL Players Association records.
James "Bus" Cook, formerly known as Brett Favre's agent, has another QB controversy brewing this offseason. Apparently he's got a history with this type of stuff. I'm just glad he doesn't represent QB Aaron Rodgers. Here's more if you've got the stomach for it.

agents
I am wondering how much Cook had to do w/ Farve and his yearly retirement delemna, and ultimately his drama queen offseason from hellll. Is it possible that Cook was behind all of Favre theatrics? I don’t think so, but you have to consider the possibility now that cook has another QB client w/ a drama filled offseason! Either way I don’t like Cook at all!!! And don’t really care what Favre does anymore either!!!

you cant blame agents on this one..
Cutler was bashed by his new coach.. He wanted Cassel and wanted to part ways with Cutler before ever meeting him. That can never be easy for someone to hear they dont want you before they ever met you. And I dont blame Cutler now for wanting to leave. The Broncos didnt man up to their mistake when they wanted Cassel and didnt get him. They put Cutler out there on the line and never realed him back in.

The coach never ‘bashed’ cutlet… He simply was interested in a QB whom he knew and knew the system he runs… When a coach inherits a QB you never know if the QB is a fit for the offense he runs! The coach knew that Cassel could run his offense effectively, but has NO IDEA if Cutler can.
I think Cutler is one of the better young QB’s in the league. I wouldn’t trade Rodgers for him though… Rodgers will prove to be the better QB! IMO
Cutler needs to grow a pair and realize this is the NFL, and your “feelings” mean little!

he did bash him
you dont publicly say you want to trade your young franchise pro bowler QB! I understand this is a business but Cutler has been their guy for the past 3 seasons. And you want someone who has only played one year, it was a very good year but I dont think you do that. Not before even meeting with him to discuss your gameplans…

What will happen to Cutler?
What will happen to Jay Cutler? Will he get traded? Will he just be released, and if so, who may pick him up? I wonder ……..
I bet James Cook is NOT happy right now.

This story may have a big impact on the Pack
When the rumors first started that Cutler would be traded if the Broncos got Cassel teams like Lions and the Vikes were in the mix. The Vikes got a guy they really wanted for some reason in Sage so they will probably be out. But the Lions could have a lot to offer. If they trade for Cutler they would probably give up aleast their 20th overall pick (from Dallas) then still have that number one pick which would switch from Stafford to probably Curry. This could then hurt the Pack in the draft if they were playing on Maybin or Orakpo cause you would guess all the defense players would move a spot.
