Larry Foote is looking for a move to the NFC North, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Apparently desiring a starting position, the University of Michigan star isn't opposed to starting eafor the restructuring Detroit Lions.
Foote is set to earn nearly 2.9 million this year, so the likelihood of the Packers pursuing the veteran are slim. Another player familiar with the 3-4 scheme wouldn’t hurt the Packers, and Coach Greene would love to have Foote around I'm sure. A great 3-4 starts with a great line-backing core, and the addition of Foote could make for one scary-mean front seven.
