Around the NFL: Carter in Detroit, Marshall wants a trade, Burress is a disaster, Bailey released by Denver
- Back in March, I spilled some digital ink considering whether the Packers should sign veteran free agent DE Kevin Carter. I still think he would be a good backup to DE Cullen Jenkins. At this point, I doubt the Packers remain interested. But it appears Detroit is interested in signing him.
- WR Brandon Marshall still wants to be traded. John at Mile High Report says he wants him to remain a Bronco, but it's not essential that they keep him.
- Ex-QB Tim Hasselbeck on why WR Plaxico Burress is a disaster as a teammate.
- It's one-and-done for LB Boss Bailey in Denver. He was released after just one season in Denver. The Packers kicked the tires on signing Bailey back in March 2008, but Denver offered him a silly multi-year contract.

Keeping you on your toes
I’m making sure all my readers stay focused on the happenings around the NFL, and know which Bailey on Denver sucks has been released and which one is still a great player (when healthy).
