Aaron Kampman's HS Coach shot and killed at high school..
I know this is slightly off topic but I felt it had a home here on the Packers page, but Kampman's (and 3 other currently NFL players) HS coach Ed Thomas was shot and killed this morning inside the school weight room. The suspect is a former Parkersburg student and also a former player for Thomas. It's a very sad day for everyone associated with high school athletics or just associated with the man himself.
I live in Iowa (only about 40 mins away from Parkersburg) and i'm stil just in shock and sick over this. Below is a link.

This is horrible
I just heard about this on ESPN. I can’t imagine being one of the players in the weight room, witnessing my coach get shot. My prayers go out to all the families effected by this horrible event.

Absolutely disgusting
It seems like bad things almost always happen to good people.

Tell you guys what...
one day later and it still has a lingering affect on me and I never had the chance to meet the man. I’ve been reading and reading about him and following this story to the fullest and it’s still very hard to swallow.
There son issued a statement last night about how he wants the people to pray for the Beckers too and I thought that was a huge statement to make at a time that is probably very tough on them as well. I’ll try and keep everyone post on events as they happen and I’m sure Aaron Kampman will have some sort of statement in the near future but like I said one day later it’s still a tough pill to swallow..
