The NBA Finals
I think the long NBA season has finally worn me out. I was into the playoffs when they began, but now my attention is waning. I watched the beginning of the game, but lost interest as the Lakers started pulling away. Every NBA expert I trust has determined that the Lakers should win, but hey, the Cavs were supposed to beat Orlando in the Eastern Conference Finals.
Here's the link to the SB Nation NBA Playoff coverage.

I'm "watching" the Finals
but I have no interest in it, other than it’s basketball.
I’ve never liked Kobe enough to pull for him, but Dwight Howard’s complete dependence on athleticism instead of actually practicing some quality post moves/footwork angers me to no end. He gets most of his points by either overpowering a lone defender or cleaning up a teammate’s garbage. Dwight has a long way to go before I cheer for him.
I guess I’m rooting for the Lakers because of Derek Fisher (good guy who had a tough family issue) and Lamar Odom (good guy, maddeningly inconsistent, but a horrible tragedy two years ago). Oh, and J.J. Redick plays for Orlando, so there’s some negativity right there.

same here!
I like Kobe just cause the guy is an unbelieveable talent. No one in the league can stop this guy. I like Odom too, and wass really impressed by Bynum early on.
I KNOW!!! I get so angry watching Howard play. The guy is SO athletic, if he just incorporated some post moves into his game he would be unstoppable, but he just relies on o rebounds and dunks to score. I don’t know if there is a more frustrating guy for me to watch.
