Tyrell Sutton - Why No Coverage?

Tyrell Sutton had an OUTSTANDING performance Saturday night for the Packers. Especially for an NFL debut. How come nobody is talking about him? 91 yards rushing, and should have had a touchdown (Packers opted for a field goal). I remember him eating up the Badgers defense a couple years ago. This guy is for real. I'm just confused as to why nobody as mentioned a single thing about his performance the other night!?!?! I'm looking forward to see which Packer running back is going to take the 3rd spot. Wynn & Lumpkin are looking pretty could right now, but Sutton good give them a run for their money. I really like his "stealth" like running style. He's hard to find in the heap of madness out there.

Give it time

You have to give it some time. He’s still only an undrafted free agent. I was a big fan of his signing right from the very beginning. And I recognized his good game on Saturday. The Press-Gazette properly praised him, as one other media example.

But as far as why you shouldn’t praise him; it’s only one preseason game. He’s got to keep on performing well. There are at least four other running backs ahead of him on the depth chart, and he might have to beat out everyone except RB Ryan Grant to secure a roster spot.
