Ahman Green and Samkon Gado in St. Louis
Former Packer RB Ahman Green spent the last two seasons battling injuries in Houston. He was released back in February and is still trying to find a job for 2009. He tried out for the Rams this week. But this caught my eye:
"Four-time Pro Bowl RB Ahman Green worked out for St. Louis this week as the team examines its options at the position.
The Rams have Steven Jackson, a 2007 Pro Bowler, as their starting running back, with Kenneth Darby, Samkon Gado and Antonio Pittman as the experienced backups behind him."
Apparently St. Louis is trying to corner the market on ex-Packer/Texans running backs by reuniting Gado and Green.

Gado had a 77 yd. TD run last week. He’s a very likeable guy. Here’s hoping he makes the team.

They could go ahead and try out Ron Dayne too, while they're at it

Being a Cornhusker fan
I always loved Green. I still have bad memories of Favre throwing over us, and Green running through us.

Green
I was never a husker fan, being a Badger 1st and a OU fan 2nd… But Ahman Green is my favorite GB Packer, hand down!!! THe guy had it all… Speed like few others, power to run through Urlacher, and a punishing attitude that he was going to lay it on the defender more than they were on him!!!
Wish he could have finished his career in GB, or at least have gotten the franchise rushing record! I would love to see him rack up another couple thousand yards to make it too Canton, but it won’t happen. He will at least be in the Packer HOF in relatively short order!!! ONe of, if not the best RB in the NFL during his packer years!!!

Ever Seen Ahman's Rap Sheet?
Great player, but that episode in Sheboygan when he drove right up someone’s front lawn and into their living room raises a red flag. Bubba Franks has quite a sheet too, and Chris Jacke’s is amusing as well.

what F'n ever
now your whining about st Louis stealing your players. maybe you should start breading football players, that way they can, be born in green bay , raised in green bay, play football in green bay, and eventually die in green bay! then maybe you all could quit your crying.try getting out more, there’s a whole other world out there that, believe it or not , has nothing to do with green bay.
