A Brett Favre Purple Jersey at Training Camp
Would you be brave enough, or stupid enough, to wear this to Green Bay Packers training camp?

A dude who shows up at training camp practice wearing ANY Vikings jersey...
… is a dude looking to mix it up. Multiply that times 4 when the jersey says Favre on it. Why criticize those who give the guy what he wants?

Wait…isn’t it ingrained into our DNA to “dislike” the Vikings? I would think that seeing number 4 in that jersey would be akin to blasphemy.
Personally, I’m still getting over seeing #4 in a Jets jersey…this one just made my eyes bleed even more.

I don't know about DNA.
But watching the Vikins pound the hell out of the Packers for the first 10 years I was a Packer fan was enough to make me hate everything about the Vikings… from their purple helmets…. to their dome… and their artificial surface… their fake piped in crowd noise… to that dude with the motorcycle and the horn.

Yeah
That dude with the motorcycle and the horn is as bad as that dude with the over-sized cowboy hat down in DallAss.
But, I digress.
The glass is more than half-full.

You can't tell me he got up that morning
and thought he was going to be welcomed with open arms. I’m just glad he wasted his money.

Favre in Purple
It is a win win for me. I want one. Favre is one of my all time favorite players, retired or playing, and purple is my favorite color. It is disheartening how fickle Packer fans are.
I only wish Favre could have gone out in the Green and Gold jersey.

I thought the Favre Jets jersey, particularly the road white...
… looked pretty sweet too.

Maybe he was just making a joke
toward the Vikings. If so, I would have to applaud him. I would do the same if the roles were reversed. Isn’t he wearing a Packer hat too. I think he was poking fun at the whole circus that went on and on us. He would have to crazy going there in support of Favre being a viking.
How you guys like the looks at camp so far? I head to Mankato and maybe River Falls to se the Chiefs next week. Should be fun.
FANTASY CHALLENGE REPORT- (don’t mean to be a caps freak) We only have one Packer fan signed up for the challenge. Comon! You guys are some of the most dedicated fans in football. 2 more would be great and we have a good group joining up.
Drop me a line at vgerkovich@yahoo.com
Good luck to all of you fans and enjoy your season. So glad it is getting closer.

No Biggee
Hey, I was at Lambeau at the Post-Superbowl victory shindig outside, and two different people walked by the crowds: one wearing a Bears jersey, and later another guy with a Cowboys jersey. Everyone pointed and laughed but not even a hint of butt-kickery. This is Green Bay you know, not Philly. From the picture above you can see the pointing and laughing, and a few cell phone pictures being taken.

love everyone’s reactions in this pic! Priceless from the two ladys to the right one scratching her head and the other thinking what in the hell (aleast thats what they are saying in my mind) to the lady in the hat giving him the thumbs down and the boo.
