Giordano signed

The Pack signed Giordano, and released Rouse to make room for him...Great, so we're still thin at safety as we just swapped Giordano for Rouse. Why not cut Bush if you want to cut a safety? I think this is going to end up being a big mistake for TT. Rouse had potential. He had work to do as far as pass coverage goes but is a good run stopper. I'm praying to god Collins can play this week, and am hoping to see him and a lot of Giordano as opposed to Collins and Bush.

My take on the new kid...

He seems like a pretty smart player, and he’s quite composed. I feel like he will be more than serviceable as a backup, and could step in and be sturdy. I’m not sure if he’s a physically dominant player, but I feel like his strongest attributes rely in his mental game. A good addition to the team.

I really, really wish we had kept Anthony Smith around, his presence would really ease some tension around this Safety situation…

On just to comment on the tention...

…I feel like Collins is good to go. I see our coaching staff seeing an opportunity to capitalize on the planned exploitation of the Packers secondary. I mean, the Rams may be expecting our Safety play to be sloppy because backup players are filling in, but our staff may be expecting and inviting such a gameplan. Game plans are really important from week to week, and games are often won on the scouting squads ability to target the opposing team’s weaknesses. If the Packers can get the Rams to bite on the Safety issue, we might separate them from that strong rushing attack…

…or maybe I have waaaaaaaaay to much time on my hands, and just make these things up in my head…
