Rosters Trimmed to 53

According to the Press Gazette, the Packers have made the necessary moves to trim their roster down to 53. For those of those who don't want to click on the link, here's the list by position:
- Quarterback: Brian Brohm
- Running Back: Tyrell Sutton, Kregg Lumpkin
- Wide Receiver: Jake Allen, Ruvell Martin, Kole Heckendorf
- OL: Andrew Hartline, Jamon Meredith, Dane Randolph
- DL: Alfred Malone, Dean Muhtadi, Ronald Talley, Anthony Toribio
- Linebackers: Danny Lansanah, Cyril Obiozor
- Cornerback: Joe Porter
- Safety: Anthony Smith
They also put Justin Harrell, Pat Lee, Evan Moore, and Charlie Peprah were place on IR. I have some thoughts on these moves, set up by players like Desmond Bishop being rewarded for good preseason play and the hard-to-believe concept of carrying 3 fullbacks. Instead of forcing you to read those comments right of the bat, I'll just quote Coffee Talk with Linda Richman and just say: "I'm a little faklempt, ttalk amongst yourselves...."

I should say that this does not include
todays trade of OL Tony Moll for CB Derrick Martin and also all prior moves made to the announcement on the Press Gazette’s Web site.

Sutton let go… I really thought he outplayed everyone except Grant this preseason and deserved a shot….

Sutton being released was my faklempt moment
Especially since I was at the NU game yesterday. I thought he played well enough to make the team but like Brandon said in his post, I don’t expect him to be jobless.

to see Anthony smith getting the axe…i thought he had one hell of a training camp/preseason. hopefully rouse will get healthy and play good enough if needed to forgot about smith
