ESPN: Boldin Unlikely To Play
According to ESPN, WR Anquan Boldin is not expected to play. This isn't a big surprise, he's missed practice all week and been undergoing all sorts of treatment, including acupuncture, to overcome a high ankle sprain he suffered last week against the Packers. Obviously missing a three-time Pro Bowl receiver is a big deal, but the best way for the Cardinals to beat the Packers is through a big passing performance which could expose nickel and dime backs CB Jarrett Bush and CB Josh Bell, such as the Steelers did a few weeks ago. Expect WR Larry Fitzgerald to be blanketed by some combination of FS Nick Collins, CB Charles Woodson, and CB Tramon Williams.
And just to add more drama for the Cardinals, according to ESPN, QB Kurt Warner is talking about retiring after the season.

if GB wins today ...
The secondary is going to have a tough matchup next week with Meachem, Colston, Henderson, Moore & Shockey.
The cardinals WRs scare me more than the Saints guys. Its Brees that worries me, he makes those guys. Colston is very good, the others are good but they aren’t to the level of a boldin, Its going to be a tough one though, they could be one of those teams that could make it go like the Steelers game. That worries me some.
The Saints guy worry me more. Everyone of them aside from Colston and Shockey have big play type speed and those are the type of WRs we’ve struggled with. The Saints have been really down as of late though, and probably have the worst defense of any of the teams in the playoffs.

Dount count the chickens
Before they hatch men. The game has to be won on the field. It pisses me that Boldin is a no go as I feel he could have exposed some of the weaknesses in the GB secondary. Not suggesting that we would have one the game with Boldin but that it becomes more increasingly difficult to win without him in this game against this defense.
