Friday Injury Report: Packers at Cardinals

For the Green Bay Packers: Only 3 Packers look unavailable this week. Last I read, it didn't seem likely FB Korey Hall could play on Sunday, but FB John Kuhn (who has been injured recently himself) and FB Quinn Johnson should be fine in his place. S Derrick Martin rolled his ankle last week against the Seahawks and will be missed on special teams. Hopefully he'll be better in time for the playoffs. NT Ryan Pickett has seemed close to returning a few times, but his hamstring injury from early December is lingering. He could be sorely missed in the playoffs, depending on the first playoff game matchup. LB Brandon Chillar played through his back spasms last week, so he might play despite missing practice this week. Everyone else should be available, unless they're benched as a precaution in a game with little meaning.

For the Cardinals: Obviously the biggest name is WR Larry Fitzgerald. He's been a full participant in practice, but he wouldn't be listed if his elbow wasn't bothering him. They could be in some trouble if they miss two starters in the secondary (CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie and S Antrel Rolle). Missing their leading rusher, RB Beanie Wells, won't help them either. But if they've got nothing to play for either, many of the 11 players on their injury list might sit this one out.

The complete list is after the jump.

Just wondering,

Did Chillar’s injury occue during a practice this week. Becasue I seem to remember him playing the final minutes of last weeks game.

Charles Woodson for NFL Defensive MVP.

Hill earned the starting job for the 2009 season by beating out Alex Smith, who missed last season after re-injuring his surgically repaired throwing shoulder. Head coach Mike Singletary largely chose Hill based on his play down the stretch last year: he went 5-3 over the final eight games and he also owns a 5-0 record at home in Candlestick Park.
