Vikings over Cowboys

It wasnt pretty and it sucks for us, but it let the Vikings gain a game on everyone in their division and now control their own destiny 100%.

its WAY too early to talk about controlling ones destiny. EVERY team controls their own destiny right now. You are right though, it was a HUGE win for them.

So glad to see the Cowboys floundering

I just don’t like Jerry Jones and dislike his team as an extension. Even if this season continues to spiral out of control for the Packers we can all take solace in Jerry Jones’ dream of a home Super Bowl also going down the toilet.

oh yeah forgot about that part…I am THRILLED to think that Dallas likely won’t be at home for a SB. That would have made my entire world implode I think.

Well, to me, that is a SMALL consolation,

being as how the other team in this discussion is the Viqueens.
And, FWIW, I disliked the cowboys even before JJ, but that dislike got turned up exponentially with the way Jones came in there and handled the dismissal of the classy Tom Landry.
Still, I will root for the Boys over the ’queens every time!

I was looking at it from a division perspective at least. We technically don’t control our own destiny in division play because the way it stands right now, the best we can do is tie the Bears if we beat them. With Minny’s win it keeps them 2 behind the division leader Chicago w/ 2 games against them still.

by Goldenarmadillo4 on Oct 20, 2010 2:42 PM CDT up reply actions

We still control it. If we win out it means we beat the Bears which ties that series and evens out our division wins. I don’t know ALL the tiebreakers but really its WAY too far out to even think about that kind of stuff which was my real point in the message. You don’t start talking about controlling destinies until AT LEAST half way through the season.

Rams over Chargers.

Why would you go with any other game?

I didn't believe it last August, but it turns out that love survives.

Why indeed?

Because Chicago lost and is in our division, maybe? ;)

Why isn't Chicago-Seattle on the list?

Take the Packer game off and add the Seahawks-Bears :)

Wait, which game do you want to vote for?

I’m having a hard time figuring it out.
