Packer Fans Poll: NFL Victory Of The Week

Unfortunately the Green Bay Packers weren't going to make it onto this poll unless they'd lost. The Jaguars win was certainly dramatic, but I think at the end of the season, the Colts are still in the playoffs and the Jaguars are drafting in the top 10. However, the Ravens win over the Steelers was very important for them to keep pace for their divisional crown. That was a big win that will still matter later in the season.

Uhhh....

where’s ATL over SF? That’s your Prilosec game of the week. ATL throws a pick with 1 min left then gets the ball back on the resulting fumble on the same play….drives down and kicks a 59 yard FG to win it…..Not even on the list?

If anyone needs Prilosec, it’s Mike Singletary.

Eh, how true...

That team boggles the mind…

I'm just glad Scott Tolzien didn't go all Drew Tate on Nick Toon and whack him upside the head...

Had to go Washington of Philly

I know Vick got taken out, but with the offseason trade of Mcnabb, this was probably the biggest game of the week

Patriots smacked the 'Phins last night...

On the road, too. It was stunning the way the Patriots took command in the second half. Henne threw 3 INTs, and the Pats returned one for a touchdown, blocked a punt that set up a touchdown, and blocked a field goal for a touchdown.

The Dolphins special teams performance made Wisconsin and Ohio State’s special teams look like All-Americans…

So no choice to vote for

Our Lord and Savior over the teeming hordes of the spawns of Satan? I guess we know what side Prilosec is on! Just kidding, I thought Jags over Colts. Jaguars probably won’t make the playoffs but a win over the elite Colts is something the players can be proud of, and even if they are drafting in the top 10 they can still have at least one very fond memory of their season.

Jaguars victory not a big deal

they play well against the Colts. The Cleveland Browns clearly pulled the biggest upset, winning despite TO earning his paycheck for the first time this season.

NEWS FLASH!!!!

Lynch just got traded to the seahawks for a 4th round pick in 2011 and a conditional pick in the 2012 draft.

How the ----- did we not give up a 4th round pick for him!!!!

Come on TT I usually am a supporter of your choices, but a 4th round pick!!!!!! We could have easily afforded that and not hurt our future. Horrible move by TT. Remember who the GM of the Seahawks is? Thats right TTs old right hand man. And he just showed you up.

meant the 2012 pick

not saying it’ll be a 2nd rounder

by Goldenarmadillo4 on Oct 5, 2010 3:20 PM CDT up reply actions

Still...

Evan if it is as high as a 3rd rounder in 2012 thats still not that bad….

Maybe Aaron Rodgers

doesn’t really want Lynch on his team but wouldn’t say so publicly.

I'm surprised, but...

I believe Marshawn was one League violation away from a year long suspension. With the Jolly thing that happened, added in with Thompson’s normal penchant for now doing high-level trades is what kept the Packers out of it. However, if earlier reports are true, the Packers DID inquire about Lynch, even before the Bills game.

So this begs the question: What happened? Did Marshawn have some say in where he wanted to go? Did the Packers simply back out at an earlier date, when the asking price was a bit higher? Did the so-called greatest running attack of the last 6+ minutes on Sunday vs the Lions change the Packers minds?

In my view and opinion, the Packers SHOULD have taken a chance with Lynch. The benefits far out-weigh the pitfalls.

Damn.

Should be “added in with Thompson’s normal penchant for NOT doing high-level trades”

Seahawks released Julius Jones

What’s his story?

Some “experts” are saying Jones would be a good fit, as he can run in the zone scheme blocking.

hes done. Lump him in with Larry Johnson. They are the kinds of guys that maybe we look at if there is another injury to one of our current guys.
