The elephant not in the room?

It seems strange no one has mentioned the obvious concern the packers have at the moment. I'm not taliking about losing starters at our 2 most vulnerable positions. I'm also not referring to the stagnant complacency of the offense after the first quarter or the fact that we have pass rushers, run stoppers and zone cover LB's but none who can man up on a TE.  I am talking about the status quo at special teams.  This team has a reputation now that it has been an entire decade since Rhoel Preston had a KR for a TD.  It's a Joke of Tampa Bay porportions.  Our team is soft in punt coverage and now that our return coverage has shown they can create seems and break free our returner, he predictably fumbles twice to the lions.  The debate is over, the unit is terrible you can't make acceptions for guys as ST contributors when your ST sucks ass.  That excuse wasn't made when you waived Havner, a 3 way player.   If you don't have the personnel you need, you bring it in and you don't build your team like a house of cards. I'd rather see Shields fumbling on kick returns, at least he has a slight chance of returning all the way.
