Brett Favre Tells NFL Network this will be his Last Year

Stay connected for news and updates

Stop me if you've heard this before.  As I was watching SportsCenter highlights following the Ravens-Falcons game, I saw a ticker on the bottom which said Favre told NFL Network that this will be his last year.

I apologize in advance for not finding confirmation for this.  I just spent about ten minutes searching for a news source to verify this, but all I could find were a number of posts on Twitter.  I'll edit this and provide a link if I find one (or Brandon, if you find one, just put it in the post).

I sure hope this is the time we can finally put it in writing that he will retire and stay away.  I, personally, have had enough of the "Will he, won't he" talk, and after December, we hopefully won't have to listen to networks saying that anymore.

Will you welcome him back?  For me, I can't decide yet.  I like and appreciate his contributions to the Packers, but he went to the Vikings, who, of the 32 teams in the NFL, rank as my 32nd favorite.

EDIT: Here is the story which now appears on ESPN.com.
