Packers Poll: NFL Victory Of The Week
I think anyone who watched the Eagles demolish the Redskins last night is going to be pretty impressed with them. But I could make a case for any of them as the best victory last week.

I'd go with the Pats
To go from losing to the Browns to demolishing the Steelers at home is pretty impressive.
Dallas
As much as I despise the ’boys, them going from the “we give up” beating the Packers gave them to the beat down they gave the NFC East leading Gnats was impressive.
Went with the Boys
They helped our cause.

When I think of Prilosec, I think of heartburn
And the most hearburn victory would’ve been the Jags and their hail mary, IMHO.
I'm apparently in the minority...
… but these sponsored poll posts really remind me of ESPN and why I dont’ watch Sportscenter anymore. About ten years ago or so I was watching Sportscenter, continuing a habit I developed in college, when they spent 2 minutes discussing, and then announcing a poll on “who’s more now?” Then they never bothered to show the Brewer highlights and just put up the score, presumably because they didn’t have the time.
I stopped watching Sportscenter on a daily basis right then, and while I occasionally catch a few minutes here or there when I stop by the 4 letter to watch a game, I don’t miss it at all. I understand that SBN has to make money and that sponsored posts are a way to do that, but it’s still pretty lame. Boring too, which is probably worse. But given the 4500 or so votes that have been case so far maybe I’m the only one that thinks so.

BTW, what the hell does "who's more now" mean anyway?

Who's more now means . . .
We’re trying to reach the numbed brain demographic.
I agree that the sponsored posts are annoying. However, I don’t see much of an alternative unless Brandon starts asking for donations. I just try to get past the ads and read the ensuing debate (although reading the debate this time informed me that prilosec is for heartburn, when I thought it was an erectile dysfunction thing).
I also agree that Sportscenter (and ESPN as a whole) is not really worth watching.
And I want to cast my vote for Packers for Bye Week of the Week.

I don't think it's Brandon's call
It’s a SB Nation systemwide thing. SB Nation is reaping the advertising revenue, not Brandon.
I do think that SBNation passes some (tiny?) portion of ad revenue through to their bloggers.
Eagle Totem - Comprehensive EMU coverage.
I think these are relevant...
In the event that one of our writers is asked to review a product or service, and receives such product/service free of charge in exchange for the review, that fact will be clearly disclosed. Notwithstanding the receipt of any product or service free of charge, or as part of a sponsorship deal, SB Nation writers will honestly and fairly review the product or service, based on their experience and expertise. Anyone submitting or contributing any product or service for use and/or review by anyone across the SBN Network should be fully aware that the contribution of such product/service does not guarantee a favorable write-up or endorsement.
How do you compensate your bloggers?
A revenue split of advertising spots. And of course you’ll be a part of the largest and best independent sports blog network on the Web!

cmadler did.
I was just providing him with the information he wanted to know. I provided the services of LMGTFY! I don’t care either, but I will help someone get the information if they seem unsure. STOP STROH’ING ME!

huh. very interesting.
How did Brandon get started here? Was it his own site first and he was scooped in or did they recruit him? Brandon, what is the story there?
Pretty sure he had his own blog and SBN asked him to join
Is that right Brandon?
You've been Stroh'd™!!!
yup
Thats how SBN came to be. They formed a network of the best independent sports blogs and put a new logo on all of them. They have made more of their own since when needed.
4 hours 5 minutes? Is that all? Buehrle coulda pitched three CGs and the bottom of the 14th in Houston by then. FTMFYITA! - RWShow
That's pretty cool.
Do you have a link to his old blog? Would be cool to see Brandon’s material from awhile before this blog.

Meh
I am secure in the knowledge that I am not influenced by the sponsorships, in the least.
I am pretty much in agreement with

The real question is...
did you actually see it?
ATL over Baltimore...
I gave that my vote. Frantic 2 minutes, with Matt Ryan leading the Falcons to victory.
I actually saw most of that game, too.
Beat Northwestern and Michigan, THEN I'll talk Wisconsin in the BCS. But not until that happens.

Ended up going with Falcons over Ravens
Here was my thinking on it. I look for the most tension-filled games, and Falcons over Ravens had the most in it.
Falcons over Ravens: A frantic last two minutes that had two lead changes, giving one team the thrill of nearly getting a victory before watching it fall apart. I think the only reason more people aren’t voting for it is because it’s not as fresh in their minds.
Patriots over Steelers: Any hope of the Steelers coming back was gone a little into the fourth quarter. Not much to wonder about at the end of that game.
Cowboys over Giants: A big win, but not as much to wonder about.
Jaguars over Texans: Definitely a surprise ending, but if it’s missed, the game goes into OT. More of a pleasant surprise/unbelievable shock than a suspenseful ending.
Dolphins over Titans: Going through 5 QBs in a game is unique, but not the biggest of the week.
Eagles over Redskins: You could have watched the first quarter of that game and known enough to stop there. Seriously, this game shouldn’t be on the list, and it’s only on the list because it’s the Monday night game. Put Jets over Browns, Bills over Lions, or 49ers over Rams on instead. (I’m not yelling at the person who posted this, because it may not have been his choices. I’m just saying that there were much better options to choose, and you could possibly argue that one of those other games I listed should be on there instead of Dolphins over Titans as well.)
If I had to rank the games in terms of big victories, here’s how I would do it:
Falcons over Ravens
Jets over Browns
Jaguars over Texans
Cowboys over Giants
Patriots over Steelers
49ers over Rams
Bills over Lions
Dolphins over Titans
Broncos over Chiefs
Seahawks over Cardinals
Eagles over Redskins
Bears over Vikings
Buccaneers over Panthers
Colts over Bengals
What? No Bears over Vikings?
