Favre v. Rodgers Stats

Since we can assume that this will be the last meeting between Favre and Rodgers, lets take a look at some numbers. As we all know, the two are 2-2 against each other with the first two going to Favre and the last two to Rodgers. Here's the scores of the four battles:

DATE GB Min
10/05/09 23 30
11/01/09 26 38
10/24/10 28 24
11/21/10 31 3
TOTAL 108 95

How about the game stats over the 4 match-ups between them?

10/24/10 29 16 55.17 212 13.25 1 3

11/21/10 38 17 44.74 208 12.24 0 1

Date ATT COMP % YDS YDS/COMP TD INT

11/21/10 31 22 70.97 301 13.68 4 0

And now for the sweet part, the totals:

ATT COMP % YDS YDS/COM TD INT

Rodgers 143 94 65.73 1267 13.48 11 3

These stats are certainly interesting. People last season wanted to make last season’s two games Favre vs. Rodgers, which was silly because Rodgers had inferior units around him to Favre.

What we saw today and last game from the Packers and Rodgers, was that if he gets time he is going to shred that secondary to bits.

One of those interceptions in the 10/24/10 game

needs to be credited to Greg Jennings, IMO.

Other than that…this is an excellent breakdown.

Beat Northwestern, THEN I'll talk Wisconsin in the BCS. But not until that happens.

very interesting breakdown. I guess the longer time went on the worse Favre was going to do…he got worse each game.

I guess I overlooked that fact completely, haha

I love that 0 in the touchdown column on 10/21/10 for Brett Favre most.

For all the crap we give Wil Wheaton, he can still tackle better than Asante Samuel...

Favre is done, Rodgers is emerging. The breakdown says it all

Imagine how much better it would have been this year if Fin was out there running routes….hmm???

Greg Jennings would have scored six touchdowns like Randy Moss...
