It has happened again. Two weeks ago, the Packers caused Wade Phillips' ouster in Dallas. Now the Vikings have fired Brad Childress after the 31-3 Packers romp in the Metrodome yesterday.
I would like to take this time to acknowledge Green Bay's 7-3 record against Childress-coached teams.
Now, the focus will be on the Vikings to see if they can do anything to approach 8-8.
All I can say is that I had the impression Childress had lost control of the team. But some of his decisions, such as cutting Randy Moss, were questionable (Childress nearly got himself fired for that move) and there were arguments all over the sideline yesterday with the Vikings trailing badly.
According to the news story which I linked to in this post, Leslie Frazier is now the Vikings coach on an interim basis.
