NFL Victory Of The Week: It's Not The Packers

Ho-hum, the Green Bay Packers blow out another team, forcing their opponent to fire their head coach for the second consecutive week, and it doesn't even rate as an option. Just business as usual for the Packers. The Bills comeback over the Bengals was crazy, but I'm not sure about a battle between two CFL/UFL teams. I was impressed by the Giants ability to suck against a better team, but still manage to briefly take the lead late in the game. And I was sort of impressed that an Andy Reid led Eagles didn't find a way to fold.

I went Bills over Bengals… Huge comeback for a mediocre team = awesomeness

I think it's nice to see

a one-win team not fold and to keep at it. But the Patriots vs. Colts has been a pretty big game for almost ten years, so I voted for that. I thought the Bears finally showed that they can keep winning despite what everyone (me included) says, but I’d never vote for the Bears, even in a meaningless online poll that’s really an ad. F the Bears, that’s what Grandma always said.

Bills over Bengals

Gotta’ love the tortured fanbase getting a hop in their step this week.

I also liked the “why so serious” quote on that guy’s undershirt, facing “Batman and Robin.” hahah “Why… so… SERIOUS” heheheh

I went with the same…that was a SICK comeback. I thought the Packers at least deserved a mention though for destroying the Vikings in their home!!

Definitely Bills over Bengals

I know it’s not an “important” victory in terms of the NFL season, but that was still a big win.

There were definitely some games to choose from, a bit surprised Jets over Texans didn’t make it, but I can’t complain this week. I might have replaced Bears-Dolphins with that game.

Pack over Vikes

But voted for ’skins over Titans.

’skins looked like crap against the Eagles, and the Titans are supposedly a good team defensively and at RB. So the ’skins rebounding and winning that game gets my vote.

How is Bears over Dolphins on the list, and not Packers over Vikes?

Seriously. Beating a team on their 3rd QB and without their Pro Bowl receiver for most of the game?

And Steelers beating the Raiders? Are you kidding me?

Both were lousy games, especially the Bears

I voted for the Indy-New England game because of the QB duel they had going. It was fun to watch until Manning ate a crucial INT.

When life gives ya lemons, shut up and eat your damn lemons.

Yeah the bears on the list makes NO sense. Anyone who thought Miami would win was crazy unless Thigpen played out of his mind but with 3 days with the first team you knew this was going to be ugly.

Pats vs Colts...

It’s the best matchup on the list. Bills vs Bengals won’t change anything other than draft order.
