Vote The Packers Into The Pro Bowl

Don't forget to go to NFL.com and vote for the Green Bay Packers. No registration required. Right now I'd say that only LB Clay Matthews is a lock, so they could probably use the support. The stats for the rest of the guys who made it last year (QB Aaron Rodgers, CB Charles Woodson, and FS Nick Collins) aren't as gaudy as they were last year. But I'm bummed that they kept TE Jermichael Finley off the ballot. We should be able to vote for him anyway. I was shocked that I'm able to vote for LB Frank Zombo.

A bit contrarian here, but . . .

Wouldn’t we be better off if we didn’t vote our guys into the Pro Bowl? It might help keep them from thinking they’re so good they don’t have to go to training camp (cough Favre cough), or keep them working hard to get recognition.

Also, getting to the Pro Bowl makes it more difficult to re-sign players – or at least re-sign them to reasonable contracts.

And finally, even though it doesn’t happen much because no one really tries, but don’t we have enough injuries already? Remember the name Robert Edwards?

I came across an article about a comic book character not too long ago. He is Captain marvel Jr. He can’t say his own name, because Captain Marvel is his magic word (unlike SHAZAM for Captain Marvel and Mary Marvel).

Anyways, I guess Mary Marvel was also using the Captain Marvel name for some reason, and Captain Marvel Jr, since he couldn’t say his own name, was telling people to call him CM3.

So… Clay Matthews III, aka CMIII, is Captain Marvel 3!!! LOL
