Alright, I realize that we are just barely over half a season into it, but we have a good look at what we have working for us and what we have working against us. As the college football season also is winding down, it doesn't hurt to look to the future of what we got to look to. So basically the question is this, where do we have some needs? What players do you want to see coming to Green Bay?
I know offensive line is a huge problem, but I feel there is two big spots that we could fix in this draft. First is get that one more stand out linebacker. We have Barnett, Matthews, Hawk and whoever else fills that void. I know not alot of people like to say Hawk is great but he is a great leader. On top of that, he has been playing pretty well lately. If I had my choice at the draft - University of Oregon LB Casey Matthews. Younger brother of Clay. Allow Barnett and Clay to play the outside linebacker position and put Hawk and Casey in the middle. Bring in Zombo, Bishop, and Chillar for new looks but make those four your primary.
Another big playmaker we need is on special teams. We need that Devin Hester, Josh Cribbs, etc. type player. Could fill in at the number 5 spot when needed. If I had my choice at the draft - University of Southern California WR Ronald Johnson. The kid has shown he can play special teams, especially against Hawaii on the opening day for USC.
So now its your turn guys, who do you want to see come in to help or where we need to go for the draft?
